Pursuit

As of recent I've wanted to step into the world of film making. I have no known skill to record anything other than video on my phone and Snapchat. However, I know that in order to make the films I've developed in my head I first need to just film them. The standing fear of them being less than what I've imagined over the years is terrifying to comprehend. Something I know I've got to get over.

For my final piece in 'Time Undone' I'm going to take a 'leap into a shadow' and make my first fine art film. Working with audio hasn't ever been a speciality but I have this shot in my head, of my head hanging in the same manor of my work 'Impacts from a Loving Father' as the words of my father echo through in diegetic manor, while clean water washes away the stains from my face. Short and bitter. The scene ends with my character opening his eyes only to star off into the distance as the water continues to pour down on his face. Holding this for only a few seconds for him to then turn off the source and disappear from frame, leaving nothing but a white background for the observer to stare at. No dialogue, No context, No comfort.
